lyrics

Beauty is a beast perceptive yet defective
Trapping the beholder under a bolder
Demanding order from soldiers with sculpted motives

On the brink of broken borders and mind destroying stress disorders.
Nature appearing peripheral new coordinates
Rerevealing frantic faucets force fit for free flowing fighters fighting a feigned front from folly front men.
A black and white problem.

A Diamond so gorgeous it refracts
To perhaps show appreciation for the nurture from nature in its creation.

A thief of breath we still dissect selfishly
For the beautiful reason labeled individualism.
What consciousness can be if not a life to live but a life left for me.

Trapped under a bolder of which the other side is green rooted
Left only to see the side of the bolder
That became an anchor attached to infant knees.

To explore outdoors cut the cords to let wings soar
That is if these hollow bones aren't too sore

But sadly the poor below become the beauty.
Again we perceive an unhappy agenda mind absentee label the victim which we are happy to be.

Blame the beholder or the bolder or the grass that grew too green
And gave us an obscene amount to dream about.
In the end.
Just blame me.

about

Ashes of Alexis Neenah, Wisconsin

We are on the pursuit of infinite metal glory.

Ashes of Alexis is:

The relentless beatings of Brandon Dodd on drums, the twisted, articulate riffs of Jordan Allen and Jordan Bradford on guitar, the slams and pops of Andrew White on bass, the profound keys and vocals of Kyle Cowling, and the unapologetic poetry of Robert Ellis as lead vocalist. This is the ultimate formula for Ashes of Alexis.
